What I Learnt in R&P Class

     First of all, what I learnt in R&P class were highly useful; for example, I used Google drive and Zotero for my ARW essay. Especially, I found Google drive important not to lose data after I had lost my USB flash drive. Moreover, it helped me to share the drift with my partner of our essay. Therefore, I must use it even after graduating.
    Second, what I was taught how to do the presentations in this class was not the same as what the other teachers had taught. they had told me to make bullet points in slides, or to follow the layout. What Rub taught us, however, was reasonable; I realized that when I was watching the slide with bullet points, I did not listen to who were doing presentation. At the same time I remembered some TED talks which I had been interested in and noticed that most of them had not told many in slides, but in what they had spoken. Thus, I decided to concentrate on speaking when I was doing presentation; then I became conscious how speaking was difficult. I forgot to tell audience a little essential information because I was getting nervous. Accordingly, I would like to improve presentation technique and conduct the prefect one.      

The sixth R&P class

We did presentation. Other's presentations were understandable and interesting.  However, mine was hard to understand, and not enough background information. Therefore, I would like to change my topic less complicated and give more background information about it.  I became to be nervous.

The fifth R&P class

Last class, we learned how to make good presentation. Though I had done some presentation, according to Rub, it was not good. His advice was reasonable, so I want to utilize it. While I was making slides, I realized that the it was difficult to find the appropriate picture to use. It has to be large enough and must not contain any letter. Because of these condition, I gave up some ideas. Finally, I decided to present about the comparison of Joker in "Batman" and "The Dark Knight". I cannot gesture well when I am concentrating on something, so I want to be careful about it.

The fourth R&P class

In the last class, we learned not only how to use Zotero, but also how to collect citations. After the class a week ago, I have been using Zotero and I found the useful function, group. By using this, we can share citations. The essay we are writing are made by at least two people, so I am using it now. By the way, I watched the video which Rub send us. When I am focusing on the presentation, I cannot do gestures. So, I want to improve my gesture. 

the third R&P class

In the 3rd class, we learned how to use Zotero. I was tired to type the long lists of work sited last term. However, Zotero can solve this problem. It has fantastic magical wand and button. It will help me a lot. After I came home, I entered 'technology-n-teaching' and video Rub made. It was clear to understand. I saw some recommendation videos about Zotero are there. It will help me to understand how to use Zotero. By the way I bought a iPad mini. I want to utilize it as we'll as MacBook Pro.

The second R&P class

In this class, we thought about survey. We discussed how to make it better to use our academic writing. What I thought was that despite the survey with Google Docs  was useful, it might contain inaccurate answers: lies or something. It arise from anonymity. The solution for it is that we should send the page for only the reliable people. However, if we do so, it will be hard to collect many answers. Thus, I want to be careful how to survey.

The first day of R&P

I learned some fundamental tools of google: groups, calendar, drive and calendar through  using Safari in this class. Although I have used Safari sometimes, I did not know even how to open a new tab. After the class, I utilized two things I had learned in this class except the assignment. First, I transferred my schedule from my organizer into Google schedule, but I realized that, because my cellphone was not the smartphone, I could not check my schedule unless I had my computer with me. Second, I made a spreadsheet to decide when is the appropriate time for group tutorial. It is very useful because I do not have to look many things, in detail, if I ask each group mate to send his or her schedule, I will receive many e-mails, have to compare all of them to decide it. However, By using Google docs, what I have to check is only one spreadsheet.
